MAXWELL TAKES THE HONOURS AT HESKETH
Our Winter Series finally got underway at a windy Hesketh where Tim Maxwell took the money with a one under 71. In close order on 72 were Freddy Valenti and Marcus Armitage just in front of a three way share of fourth.
The team honours went to the Formby Hall team of Karl Stokes, Kevin Stokes, Gary Millar and pro Ian Finnis with a 12 under return. In second was the TRUE TEMPER team lead by the Tour's main sponsor Dave McCarthy and his two son's Nick and Duncan masquerading of +2 and +1 (!)accompanied by pro Andrew Murray on 9 under.
