Duncan
As a Sport Performance Coach Duncan’s three main interests are sports psychology, fitness and nutrition. Duncan delivers a complete and unique understanding of how to achieve peak performance. He has a great depth of knowledge into goal setting and delivers these to a range of clients. Duncan’s passion is to demystify peak performance, to provide a range of practical and relevant tools to all levels, and assist in performance breakthrough. Having studied the areas at University, Duncan went on to further qualifications in each aspect. He also competed at an elite level in sports, and has achieved numerous successes he set out to achieve. Duncan has seen many great players and spoken to many elite athletes and firmly believes there are a huge amount of potentially great performers. Unfortunately they will not achieve their potential, whether at a professional level, or even just a dedicated weekend athlete, simply because their mind was untrained. Duncan can help guide any performer to their potential. With many aspects playing a vital role in peak performance, Duncan offers a comprehensive package to any athlete wanting success at any level. He believes everyone is in control of their thoughts, and so they should take control of their mind and their performance will then take care of itself.
Leeds Golf Centre is now the home to Ignite Sports. The centre is the perfect location for any golfer, at any level, wanting to improve. With facilities such as an 18 hole course, a 12 hole par 3 course, 20 bay floodlit range, bar, restaurant and function room, Leeds Golf Centre certainly creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to any visitor.
The Centre also boasts a strong teaching team, including Bill Ferguson, coach to many European Tour winners and major champions. Now with Ignite on board, the centre looks to expand and create an all-round golfing experience to golfers of all levels and ages. The Junior Academy Professional Joe Feather is keen to keep expanding the popular programme with juniors, and under the guidance of Head Professional Andy Herridge, and input from Ignite, Leeds Golf Centre will become a location for all golfers to come, improve, and enjoy themselves. Ignite will add to the swing and technical team by incorporating the mind, fitness and nutrition elements that are now becoming more apparent in the ever evolving sport of golf.
